Fees and Health Insurance










Fees for initial appointments are collected at time of scheduling, and refundable if cancelled at least 48 hours before appointment time.  All other fees are collected at time of scheduled service.  No-shows and late cancellations (within 48 hours) are charged the full fee.  The preferred method for payment is to maintain a credit card on file for charges.  Alternatively, clients can pay a retainer prior to start of services, and unused funds will be refunded.  Estimates for costs of services are available upon request.


If you desire, you may decide to utilize your insurance to attempt to obtain reimbursement for clinical services that you received.  Please check with your clinician to determine if their services would be considered "in network" or "out of network," and check with your insurance company to review your coverage and benefits.  Below is additional information related to utilization of insurance:

SBH Will:

  • Complete and submit claims
  • Offer receipt of services
  • Obtain copy of insurance and ID




Client Responsibilities:

  • Decide whether to submit claims
  • Provide insurance information in portal
  • Resolve any processing difficulties
  • Be on time for start of services
  • Check about coverage

  • Submit claim if client has not attended full session
  • Write letters on behalf of clients
  • Delay collection of fee until claim is paid
